Children who participate in the City of Deming Youth Summer Recreation program were treated to a fun day at the Sam Baca Aquatic Center on Monday. The group normally spends mornings playing tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer, mush ball and paricipating in cheer and dance. Program director Jerome Sandoval and the city give the children a chance to cool down at the pool during the hot summer days.
